09 Sep, DUB - EDI (0730 - 1300)
I’m assuming we catch an early flight (am) from DUB-EDI. The flights average about 1 hr. 15 min, and anticipated cost from $40 – $130.
Potential timeline:
0730, Depart Dublin hotel
0830, Arrive DUB
0945 – 1105, Flight DUB-EDI
1105 – 1200, Exit airport/customs
1200 – 1300, (Bus) Airport to Edinburgh Castle **I’m hoping we can schedule to see the Castle in the early afternoon — before we check into a hotel. This would enable us to get one tourist attraction done and still enable time to rest/relax the rest of the day. The Castle should be walking distance from whatever hotel we stay at (e.g. within 1 mile or so). No tour required. Just purchase tickets online between 9:30a – 5p. It’ll take just over 2 hours for this visit.
09 Sep, Edinburgh Castle (1300 - 15:30)
Two hours, maybe a bit more. Purchase tickets online. They let in so many people every 1/2 hour.
10 Sep, 08:00-12:00 Arthur's Seat; Open
No set plans for the late afternoon and evening. Maybe somewhere nice to eat.
11 Sep, Edinburgh - Open
This is do we try to do Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat on the same day? or split them up. Option here to just enjoy the rest of the day here and walk around, eat, relax. But still, potential time to relax even if we do one of the events.

13 Sep, Cliffs of Moher (all day)
I’m assuming we catch an early TRAIN (am) from Edinburgh to London. The average train trip is about 5 1/2 hours. and anticipated cost of about $135.
